Sateri is the world’s largest producer of viscose fibre, a natural, biodegradable material derived from wood cellulose used in textiles, personal hygiene products, and wipes. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Shanghai, the company is a subsidiary of the Royal Golden Eagle (RGE) group.
Sateri operates 15 cellulosic fibre factories in China, including viscose mills, a yarn mill, Lyocell facilities, and spunlace nonwoven plants. Its core brands include EcoCosy, FINEX, and Lyocell. In August 2025, the company launched The Lyocell Company as a standalone brand for its Lyocell business. As of 2026, Sateri maintains a combined viscose and Lyocell capacity exceeding two million tons annually.
